What was the inspiration to start your business?
I was getting ready to head to Africa on a Missions trip and needed a different fundraiser. So I started KCD and 10% of all our sales today go to different outreaches in Canada and over Seas.
What is your favourite part of being a small business owner?
I love helping my customers find “Western” style of clothes that make them feel and look good. My staff will tell you this. If I ever helped you find your sizes. And you come back into the store and I help you. 99.9% I can remember your size or what you bought the last time I helped you.
What do you wish people knew about your business?
That we are a company that gives back. Not only in our own backyard. But all over the world.
Who is your greatest supporter?
Family & Friends
What are you most proud of about your business?
We won “Best Western Boutique” in North America in 2019 and was runner up in 2020.
